Health Camps:

Health camps were conducted in our operation area of Trichy. Free eye camp, general health camp and Health awareness camp for especially for women and adolescent girls.

Awareness campaigns are organised based on National & international day theme like World Anti Tobacco Day, World Cancer Day etc.

Women Empowerment Program

Women empowerment Meetings, Conducting women empowerment meeting with Doctors, Lawyers ,Police persons and Educationist .

To provide the awareness to the women about Health , rights of women, law protecting the women and children . Through these program women get awareness and friendly with the public servants.

Annual Events:

International Woman’s day, Violence against women’s day also organised every year. To Create awareness about the gender equality, women rights.

Financial Literacy Program:

Expert from Bank and Government administrative officials addressing the gathering. The main purpose of financial literacy program is to make people financially literate and create an awareness about importance of savings ,loan repayment and investment to achieve their life financial goals and insurance product of government and private. More over pension schemes and user methods of ATM cards will be discussed.

Special need based training:

Skill oriented training program were conducted for the women to uplift their skills and make them to stand on their own . In this training market linkages, value added services were made through these meetings.

Maintenance of SHGs:

For Socio economic empowerment of women centres have been promoted in the operational area. In such groups are having 10 to 20 women members. Our staff organising the groups in the target areas, through housing visit and giving training to the members regarding about organisation ,regular attendance of centre meetings, loan size ,. loan repayment system. Followed by compulsory Group Test (CGT) they become the members of the branch. They will be eligible for the loan.
